When I thought over the composition of this artwork, I partially relied on the rule of thirds. That's why it felt so right to add another snail to the area of crossing lines, near the tree. Perhaps you saw a snake in my recent drawing. Actually, it's not a snake - rather a legless lizard. The thing is, we came across this amazing reptile in the forest. It was great luck because this species is rare here. I was so happy ☺️ The lizard was friendly and its skin so incredibly smooth 😍 So I included memories of that day into my mushroom drawing. In recent months, I use mostly my own photos as a reference. Pinterest and Google Images are great, but it's not your experience. It may be difficult to make something personal if you use impressions, memories, and work of other people to base your art on. However, I don't have anything against that route.
